Hi There! I’m Tarra.

I’m a specialty coffee professional with over 12 years worth of experience in both retail and wholesale operations.  What started out as a summer job turned into a lifelong passion and career that continues to grow and excite me daily! I’ve worked for reputable roasters such as Klatch Coffee, Verve Coffee Roasters, Equator Coffees, & Provision Coffee & Roaster. It was during this time I helped to open and train various cafes and coffee programs such as those for the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, Sprouts Restaurant Group, The Wing, Alliance Hospitality Group, The Palm Coffee Bar, Estate Coffee, The Westin Downtown Phoenix, Merchant Coffee, and so many more.

I’ve taught for the Specialty Coffee Association for various events such as Expo and Barista Camp teaching both practical courses, but seminars as well. In 2017, I gained my License as an Accredited SCA Trainer (AST) for Barista Foundations & Intermediate, and continue to hold that today.

Over the years, I’ve become skilled in specialty coffee training, equipment consultation, account management, and high-level client service. However, the element throughout all of these is business development. Whether it’s in the form of hands-on barista training, or just a phone call with some good advice, we can all use help in growing our business in this continuously growing industry we know as specialty coffee. I’ve learned so many lessons along the way, and I want to share them with you! This is why I created Curated Coffee Consulting.
